A week of one of the most unique ski experiences anywhere.
An experience built around you. We start with a on-the-slopes design consultation. You try out as many Thoroughbred Skis as you like with your design consultant. Here we explore what your ideal ski characteristics are; quick turning, stability, float and so forth. Then we go back to the shop to select the top finish and sign off on a design for your skis. Day 2 is a day to explore the mountain at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort on your own while the materials are being prepared to build your skis. On day 3 and 4 you join your design consultant to participate in the process of building your skis. You can spend all day, or mix it up with half-days on the slopes. Day 5 your new skis emerge. Take them out and rip up the slopes. On days 6 and 7 you have the option of adding days of heli or snowcat skiing at one of the operations in the area near Golden, BC.
During your experience you stay on the mountain at one of the ski-in ski-out accommodations.
